And Christophe Pillet's C & C series for the company certainly takes traditional glass furniture to new levels. The Small Trolley from the collecton is crafted in 8 mm-thick curved glass in a dual surface, bent glass form that stores media components and more. Tote it around with the included feet and castor accessories in aluminum.

Christophe Pillet, born in 1959, has been living and working in Paris since 1988. A graduate of Nice's Arts Dratifs School in 1985 and Milan's Domus Academy in 1986, he collaborated with Martine Bedin for two years. He then worked with Phillipe Starck from 1988 until 1993, before choosing to develop independent projects. Pillet engages in many fields - from product and furniture design to interior design, architecture, scenography and artistic direction. He has designed furniture and décor for Cappellini, Daum, HC Decaux, Driade, Ecart International, Eemco, IOr, Lacoste, Moroso, Renault, Srralunga, Shiseido, Shu Uemura, Veuve Clicquot, Ponsardin, Whirlpool and FontanaArte.View other products by Christophe Pillet
Born from one man’s passion for glass in 1973, Fiam became Vittorio Livi’s dream come true and introduction into the fine work of furniture designing. From a young age, Livi appreciated the fine and complex qualities that came with using glass as a medium; solid and fragile, natural and artificial, ancient and industrial, glass was quite the mélange of seeming contradictions. With its vast potential, Livi’s creative mind took his passion for such unique material and used it to drive Fiam’s designs to develop and produce pieces through a mix of high quality craftsmanship and industrial processes.
Fiam sees a designer's willingness to take risks with shapes as a welcoming challenge to the technical expertise of the craftsman. Similarly to the designers, Fiam’s craftsmen are considered important as each product is precisely crafted and finished at the hands of skilled individuals who are capable of predicting, quantifying, controlling, and finding the best alternatives to ever case. However, the aide of research and innovative technology is not without mention.
