Flux is what happens when good design meets flexibility. Taking its cue from the lines of origami, Flux Chair goes from flat to chair in only ten seconds. Weighing in at only 10.6 pounds, Flux Chairs are light enough to carry around and strong enough to support up to 352 pounds. When folded, the Flux built-in handle makes it easy to transport the chair from the patio to the park and everywhere in between. In a folded position, Flux Chairs can be stacked 21 chairs high in just one foot of space
Made of weather-proof polypropylene, Flux Chairs are designed to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Flux was created by two young designers, Douwe Jacobs and Tom Schouten of Holland. The concept for foldable, flat and design- friendly furniture evolved in 2008 during while working on their graduation project for the Industrial Design Engineering Masters at the Technical University of Delft.
Upon graduation, Jacobs and Schouten decided to start their own company for smart, flexible furniture that appeals to designers and consumers alike. They named their company Flux in a nod to the idea of transformation, change, and flow. Over one hundred full-scale prototypes later, Flux Chairs are ready to sit in homes, patios, and outdoor spaces everywhere.

WOW, The old sit in days have changed! Bring your own chair!

Great chair for a company, for staff meetings or for entire staff meeting, or picnic. There are two ways to do this, but I prefer the second option. The staff picks up their chair at the front door and sets it up, sits down and waits for the meeting. Maybe they arrive a little early and visit with associates. And maybe they start a huge circle. It is fun and work should be what you want to do and fun. And companies, in these tough times should be fun and this will help you to communicate your vision to your staff. Great chair, freedom for lots of adventures in the office, at home, out of the office, picinics, walks to the boardwalk etc. Enjoy this fun, moveable chair. And, bring your own moveable feast. Financially, This will give you the company the ability to save money, no one to set up or take down. And, the staff the ability to choose if they want to sit in a straight row, a round group and turn their chairs for presentation time, freedom to act because you believe in them. A Winner all around.

I like the chair, it fit well, but my son had some problems with it being a little wobbly. Given, he is 2 and wants to stand on everything.

I liked this even more than I thought I would. It was difficult to put together the first time, but the video was very helpful. Really comfortable and has such great design!
