Designer: Alberto Lievore

Born into a family of Italian immigrants in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1948, from a young age he was sensitive to design, inventing various objects and toys for himself. After completing a scientific technical education in chemistry, Lievore went on to work for an oil company. He later completed his military service and sought to further his love for design, so he began architecture at the Buenos Aires Faculty of Architecture. In 1977, he officially settled in Barcelona where he founded a studio in the Berenguer el Gran Square with colleague Norberto Chaves, and afterwards Daniel Perrando, Oriol Pibernat, and Jorge Pensi. Later, in 1984, he started his very own Alberto Lievore & Associates firm, which allowed him to learn and grow more as a designer. In 1991, he changed the name of his firm to Lievore Altherr Molina, as other designers Jeanette Altherr and Manel Molina joined the lineup. He still continues his incredible work with his firm, attaining worldwide acceptance and notability with his partners for their bold furniture designs.

Designer: Jannette Altherr

Jeanette Altherr, along with Alberto Lievore and Manel Molina, came together in 1991 to create the firm Lievore Altherr Molina. Jeanette, originally a German designer and stylist, moved to Barcelona to initially go to school, decided to make it her permanent place of residence. She brought to the firm her strong interior design and styling skills, which has helped the firm to become recognized throughout Europe. The firm has exhibits worldwide and has won numerous design accolades and awards, including the Spanish National Design Award (1999), the FIM National Furniture Design Competition, and the ADI-FAD Deltas, among others.

Designer: Manel Molina

Manel Molina joined forces with Alberto Lievore and Jeanette Altherr in 1991 to create the firm Lievore Altherr Molina. Known for its furniture design, the studio also focuses on product design, interior design, consultancy and art direction work for a number of companies, while offering personalized solutions to each industry. The studio also has developed an intense teaching practice, giving seminars and training courses to new professionals at various Spanish universities and other organizations.
