Design by Diesel, 2009.
The Diesel Cage collection took roots in "underground" origins in the real sense of the word. Inspired by the lamps of miners that were protected by a metal cage, Diesel has reinvented the Cage as decorative element at the opposite end of the spectrum for modern living.
Cage Grande Suspension Lamp features a blown glass lamp wrapped with care by a roomy, lacquered metal wire cage. The colored finishes of Cage have a dual soul: when switched off, the colors are full, strong and the design of the cage is reflected on the shiny surface. When switched off they change; black becomes a warm aubergine. Cage Grande includes 70.8" of field-cuttable cable suspension. Select from 6 cage/inner shade color combinations.
