Ellepi Wall/Ceiling Light takes after its namesake, daughter of the sun, spreading rays of light in a 360° circle like the warm light of the sun. Ellepi features an aerial disc that keeps its distance from the wall by means of a central ring that creates the radiant effect of a glowing sun in the sky through a play of concentrated and refracted light in its center. Ellepi offers evenly diffused light throughout a space while also providing a reflected light source that highlights its mounted surface. Wall or ceiling lamp with satin white polycarbonate shade and white satin middle ring.

Alessandra Matilde first studied in theatre design in Venice and thereafter moved to London where she designed interiors and installations for several years. She next settled in New York in 1999, where Matilde began to produce her first luminous pieces. Her work has since moved on to include installations to industrial design and is always characterized by essential shapes and bright colors.
