Tropico Ellipse Suspension LampPrice: $1,969.00
Design by Giulio Iacchetti, 2008.
Tropico Ellipse Suspension Lamp features an inner cylindrical diffuser lamp that emits an embracing glow, highlighting an outer shade of prismatic components arranged in a contiguous pattern to form the shape of an ellipse. The intricacy of Tropico's shade creates a smooth sculptural presence while still maintaining an open and airy feel and recreates the vision of a tropical lantern from a far away land. Shade components are available in a translucent Ice or opaque Ivory finish for a reflective or absorbent quality. Tropico's personality becomes versatile by inserting optional color filters, with a choice of cool violet or warm orange.

The concept and coordination of the group project Eureka Coop, for Coop Italia, brought design into the major retailing circuit and focused on the new generation of Italian design.View other products by Giulio Iacchetti
