Design by George Nelson, 1947.
Handcrafted in Michigan, U.S.A.

The Bubble Lamp range from designer George Nelson was originally designed in 1947 and produced through the late 1970's. This inventive collection of lights features dimensional shapes in soft white polymer over steel framing. One of the most defining lighting collections in mid-century modern design, it boasts lasting appeal and quality construction.

The Pear Lamp's diffuser features a rounded middle with symmetrical tapered top and bottom. The fixture is highlighted by an internal steel structure which follows its curvaceous silhouette. Offered in two sizes. Reissued to its original specifications, using the original Howard Miller tooling. Part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Six feet of white cord is included in the assembly kit. Brushed Nickel ceiling plate.
