Overview
Inspired by mid-century design favorites, the Carter Chair is both sleek and urban. Constructed of FSC certified wood, the Carter Chair includes blind tufted upholstery and a loose back cushion for guaranteed comfort. A welded stainless steel base contributes to the modern aesthetic and plastic bumpers on each leg prevent floor damage from occurring.
The Carter Chair is available in a variety of different fabric options. All fabric is CA 117 approved and double rub tested.

Great store, very bad delivery

I purchased a Gus Carter chair at full price only to have the yLiving sales person call me back to tell me it was going on sale if we waited a week. Great customer service. Very nice of her to let us know about the sale. But, when the chair arrived 4 days later than the expected delivery date and after 8:30 PM -- three hours late after the driver called 3 times to tell me he was on his way -- he carried the chair on his bare oily head from the truck to our front door -- then discovered he couldn't get it through the door. He almost drooped it and the cushion and then set it down in a potted plant on our front porch. He also hit my wife in the leg during this action. After he got it in the house he turned it over on it's upholstered side, and commenced to slide it down the hall on our hard wood floor. At this point I stopped him and helped him carry it the living room. This guy was a total klutz!!! Very unprofessional.
