Design by Charles & Ray Eames, 1964.
Made in the U.S.A. by Herman Miller.
In 1964, the office of Charles and Ray Eames designed a table with a single segmented base, constructed of modular units that could support tops of different lengths and widths. New in 2012, enjoy these same classic features in a table intended for outdoors (and in!). In this version, marble or granite round table tops meet a powder coated pedestal base. Stone table tops are cut to order and finished with a bullnose edge. Table bases are the original Eames "Contract Base" with cross-shaped footing design: simple and classic. Tops and bases are connected with a bolt that runs the length of the column to ensure strength and durability through years of use.
These café style dining tables are a tried and true Herman Miller classic, rich in design history and now offered in this version with stone table top options for outdoor applications. At 28.5" tall, the Eames® Round Dining Table for Outdoors is ideal for creating eating spots around outdoor entertainment and dining areas. Select 30", 36", 42" or 48" diameter table top. Available in White, Grey or Black stone table tops in granite or marble and 2 column/base finishes. Also offered in a 16" high Outdoor Occasional Table with Contract Base.
Marble is locally sourced from quarries in the U.S. and Canada. All Herman Miller outdoor products carry a 3 year warranty.

Designer: Charles + Ray Eames
A chair that looked like a potato chip. Another that resembled a "well-used first baseman's mitt." A folding screen that rippled...
With a grand sense of adventure, Charles and Ray Eames turned their curiosity and boundless enthusiasm into creations that established them as a truly great husband-and-wife design team. Their unique synergy led to a whole new look in furniture. Lean and modern. Playful and functional. Sleek, sophisticated, and beautifully simple. That was and is the "Eames look."
That look and their relationship with Herman Miller started with molded plywood chairs in the late 1940s and includes the world-renowned Eames lounge chair, now in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.View other products by Charles + Ray Eames
