Eames® Round Occasional Tables with Universal Base, Outdoor
Overview
Design by Charles & Ray Eames, 1964.
Made in the U.S.A. by Herman Miller.
In 1964, the office of Charles and Ray Eames designed a table with a single segmented base, constructed of modular units that could support tops of different lengths and widths. New in 2012, enjoy these same classic features in a table intended for outdoors (and in!). In this version, marble or granite round table tops meet a powder coated pedestal base. Tops and bases are connected with a bolt that runs the length of the column to ensure strength and durability through years of use. Also offered in a 29.5" high Outdoor Dining Table.
This low Round Occasional Table from Charles and Ray Eames is a tried and true Herman Miller classic, rich in its design history. At 16" tall, the tables are ideal for creating conversation areas. Select from 30" or 36" table top diameters with White, Grey or Black stone table tops in granite or marble and 2 column/base finishes.
Notes:
Marble is locally sourced from quarries in the U.S. and Canada. All Herman Miller outdoor products carry a 3 year warranty.

A chair that looked like a potato chip. Another that resembled a "well-used first baseman's mitt." A folding screen that rippled...
With a grand sense of adventure, Charles and Ray Eames turned their curiosity and boundless enthusiasm into creations that established them as a truly great husband-and-wife design team. Their unique synergy led to a whole new look in furniture. Lean and modern. Playful and functional. Sleek, sophisticated, and beautifully simple. That was and is the "Eames look."
That look and their relationship with Herman Miller started with molded plywood chairs in the late 1940s and includes the world-renowned Eames lounge chair, now in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
