Eames® Square Table with Contract Base, Outdoor
Overview
Design by Charles & Ray Eames, 1958.
Made in the U.S.A. by Herman Miller.
These Eames-designed versatile table classics are now a family of beautiful, hard-working outdoor tables re-engineered to withstand the elements. New finishes developed by Herman Miller make these truly outdoor tables that can take the rain and sunshine: with a four-legged cast aluminum base available in two durable powder-coat outdoor finishes, and weather resistant stone tops in four responsibly sourced marble or granite options. Tops and bases are connected with a bolt that runs the length of the column to ensure strength and durability through years of use. The table base is the original Eames "Contract Base" with cross-shaped footing design: simple and classic.
At 28.5" tall, the Eames® Square Table with Contract Base for Outdoors is an appealing presence for dining on patio or lanai - and equally lovely inside too. Select 30 or 42" square table top widths with White, Grey or Black stone table tops in granite or marble and 2 column/base finishes.
Notes:
Marble is locally sourced from quarries in the U.S. and Canada. All Herman Miller outdoor products carry a 3 year warranty.

Designer: Charles + Ray Eames
A chair that looked like a potato chip. Another that resembled a "well-used first baseman's mitt." A folding screen that rippled...
With a grand sense of adventure, Charles and Ray Eames turned their curiosity and boundless enthusiasm into creations that established them as a truly great husband-and-wife design team. Their unique synergy led to a whole new look in furniture. Lean and modern. Playful and functional. Sleek, sophisticated, and beautifully simple. That was and is the "Eames look."
That look and their relationship with Herman Miller started with molded plywood chairs in the late 1940s and includes the world-renowned Eames lounge chair, now in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
