The Enchord Desk offers a dual-level work surface with a fixed desk top for focused work and a sliding left/right lower surface for storing laptops and papers and routing cords and cables. Offered in two finish combinations and fixed-height painted cast aluminum legs with 0.5" leveling glides. Select Chalk White laminate top with Pesto Green lower surface or White Oak veneer top with Chalk White laminate lower surface.
Industrial Facility designers Sam Hecht and Kim Colin created Enchord "to be open to interpretation," to provide "discovered pleasure in flexibility. You become more aware of what it can do as you use it." Inspired by the need for functional, versatile furniture that can hold up to today's dynamic home workspace needs, the design team created a system that is "simple, understated, and elegant — not over-engineered or too dramatic — so it fits in multiple environments."
Enchord Desk answers to this with a dual space that offers multiple tasking areas. Computer and keyboard can take their usual spot, while cables, docking stations and papers find a space on the desk's lower work surface. Working essentials remain easily at hand.
Ships knocked down. When assembled, the lower surface extends beyond the upper surface. It can extend 11" or 12" on either side or it can be centered, extending 5" on both sides.
