Note: This product is no longer available.
Overview
Inspired by Charles and Ray Eameses' love for playful furniture and children's toys, the Hang-It-All has been a favorite accessory for nearly six decades. In the home or at the office, this creation reinvented the everyday coat rack and gave true form to function. More than a conversation piece, it holds almost anything that slips over its playful hooks. The exclusive Select Edition, with its black, welded-steel frame and 14 solid walnut hooks, brings sophistication to this already eye-catching display. A complement to modern furnishings, the Select Hang-It-All will be a notable original to cherish for years to come.
Available from Herman Miller Select (2010). Herman Miller Select began as a once-a-year limited edition release in 2008, its items intended for those with discriminating taste and an eye for design.
To achieve the Hang-It-All's spidery base, the Eameses used the mass-production techniques for welding wires that they developed for their wire-base tables and wire chairs. The limited edition Herman Miller Select 2010 Hang-It-All features a black, steel-rod frame with 14 solid walnut balls with a clear finish. Attachment hardware is included.
Notes:
Attachment hardware is included. This is the 3rd limited edition product from the HM Select™ program, and is only available for a limited time.

Beautiful product!

I have always admired the Eames Hang-It-All so when they came out with this color I added it to my wish list. After getting and installing it (very uncomplicated I might add, this was the easiest thing in our house to hang) I am very pleased with this product. Style, usability and quality describes this perfectly.

I am very pleased with my purchase as it is functional, beautiful and solid. I look forward to seeing what the next limited edition item will be from Herman Miller.
A wonderful addition to our new home
By: Michelle I., Homeowner (Chicago )
I bought my husband the Hang-It-All for our fifth wedding anniversary; I thought it would be a good gift of "wood" and would fit perfectly in our newly purchased mid-century modern home. He absolutely loved it, and we both love that it's a special edition. I have always liked the classic model, but we don't have children; I feel like this model is a bit more "grown up." I highly recommend this product; it's a true classic.
gorgeous

I got this for my boyfriend as a gift and we both love it. I considered getting the colorful version for a while, but kept thinking it is better for a child's room. The walnut special edition was the perfect solution. It arrived in the official Herman Miller box with lovely packaging. The tax and shipping free service was a great bonus.
Timeless Design

The Eames coat rack is a work of art. Very pleased with service at YLiving - very fast shipping! I received this item 4 days after placing order. Other home design web sites quoted a 4-6 week shipping window.
Hang it all limited edition gives you unlimited aesthetic pleasure...

Hang it all limited edition is definitely for the slightly elder child in you. Simple formal language and perfect wooden knobs make it a must have for the design lover. Best of all is the perfect quality of the product. Just the packaging isn't tough enough to have it sent to Europe...
Beautiful and functional!

I've always liked the hang it all, but the bright colors didn't work in my decor. This walnut version is gorgeous. Mounted in five minutes, and it looks great.
It's Beautiful!

I wasn't convinced I'd like the Hang-it-All in the walnut/black combo because I thought I might think it looked "off" since it wasn't in the well-know bright original colors. But, I love it!! It is so sophisticated and the walnut is so smooth and solid. It looks great! Now I'm going to be on the watch for next year's "special edition" by Herman Miller.
Outstanding!

I just love the Hang It All in walnut. It Looks fantastic in our new bedroom. The service received from YLiving is exactly the same :-) Perfect. Thanks and I will be back.
Beautiful Simplicity

A well-made, beautiful twist on the original. The black frame is flawless, as are the walnut spheres that adorn each hook. The only drawback is the price. The Eames name certainly commands a hefty markup.
A classic (only better??).
By: Clint, Homeowner (New York, NY)
The original hang-it-all is a classic of modern design, and this piece might be one of the only times I've seen a re-release that does the original justice. It's really striking, and it should ease the nerves of anyone who always loved the piece but wasn't sure about the whimsical style and color. It looks amazing in my clean, simple mid-century decor without being too young or silly. Plus, it's a collector's piece.
Designer: Charles + Ray Eames
A chair that looked like a potato chip. Another that resembled a "well-used first baseman's mitt." A folding screen that rippled...
With a grand sense of adventure, Charles and Ray Eames turned their curiosity and boundless enthusiasm into creations that established them as a truly great husband-and-wife design team. Their unique synergy led to a whole new look in furniture. Lean and modern. Playful and functional. Sleek, sophisticated, and beautifully simple. That was and is the "Eames look."
That look and their relationship with Herman Miller started with molded plywood chairs in the late 1940s and includes the world-renowned Eames lounge chair, now in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
