Humanscale's Horizon LED task light, a visually striking fusion of form and function, is the first utilization of Thin Film Technology™ in a task light. Using a series of high-intensity LEDs surrounding several layers of polycarbonate and optical films, Thin Film Technology produces an ultra-wide footprint of warm, glare-free 3000K light - excellent for ergonomic illumination and beautiful light in any environment. In addition, Horizon's built-in dimmer control provides both energy savings and adjustable levels of illumination.
With a striking, organic aesthetic that complements any interior, the Horizon provides an even plane of illumination that casts just one shadow. Spherical joints in the base and light assembly facilitate easy, intuitive positioning while seven levels of adjustable illumination increase the light's energy efficiency and ergonomic function. Soft start and adjustment is easy on the eyes and the unique nightlight feature operates at just one watt. The Horizon LED Task Light contains 95% recyclable content.

Humanscale took the contract furniture industry by storm with the introduction of the Freedom Chair in 1999. Designed by ergonomics pioneer, Niels Diffrient, the Freedom Chair broke new ground by combining functionality with minimal manual controls and utilizing mechanisms that respond to the requirements of each end user automatically. The Freedom Chair solidified Humanscale's reputation and has remained at the top of the industry for over ten years.
In wake of the Freedom Chair's success, Humanscale has introduced an entire line of ergonomic seating including the Liberty Chair and Diffrient Chair. Humanscale's seating solutions have become so notable they have gained attention from Hollywood, gracing the sets of hit television shows and films.
