Over 7000 holes are bored into the doors of the Halftone Storage unit to create the image of Philadelphia landmark Society Hill Towers - a nod to the home of Iannone Design, where all pieces are hand-crafted. Halftone features soft closing Bamboo veneer doors and body in formaldehyde-free Bamboo plywood. The cabinet is constructed with no added formaldehyde adhesive maple plywood that has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), denoting that it comes from well-managed, sustainable forests. This material is finished with a durable low-VOC topcoat.
The Halftone Storage unit features ample storage with a halftone image of Philadelphia landmark Society Hill Towers. Over 7000 holes are bored into the doors to create the image. Bamboo plywood and veneer construction. A Michael Iannone design.

Michael Iannone graduated from Rowan University in 2000 with a BFA in Studio Art and began designing and building furniture shortly thereafter. He worked for two years as a luthier crafting custom solid body electric guitars. Michael's design/build firm 'Iannone Design' operates out of Philidelphia, PA creating eco-friendly modern furniture from sustainable sources and by sustainable means.

This bright young company operates out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under the helm of designer Michael Iannone. Their collection of quality furniture includes tables, cabinets, dressers and shelving that combine the simplicity of modern design with natural materials and graphic embellishments inspired by nature, architecture and modern design.
Iannone Design produces its furniture with sustainable materials like locally harvested domestic hardwoods, reclaimed woods, renewable cork, bamboo plywood and Kirei board, a material made from reclaimed stalks of the sorghum plant. All pieces are finished with a low-VOC waterbased topcoat or an all natural hand applied oil wax finish. Iannone always uses finishes are that are low VOC and/or GREENGUARD certified to offer products that are as thoughtful as they are beautiful.
