The Tools Ceramic Cookware collection features a ceramic coating capable of being heated to very high temperatures, but requires little heat to brown food rapidly. The versatile Tools Ceramic Sauteuse is ideal for small batch sautéing, and making and warming sauces, gravies and soups.
Notes: Hand wash. Suitable for Gas, Electric, Ceramic and Induction ranges. Metal utensils can be used on ceramic coatings. However cutting, denting, and sharp items may damage the surface. Best results are achieved by using a small amount of grease when using a pan with ceramic coating. A mixture of butter and sunflower oil has proved the best. Cold-pressed oils are not suitable for frying. And ordinary grapeseed oil is also not ideal for ceramic coatings.
