Alfred Häberli's essential design idea for the Essence Collection was to include as few glasses as possible, while still being able to serve a full range of wines. Häberli's family background in the hotel and restaurant business has given him a deep insight into the end user experience. Essence serves all types of wines in only four extra tall and firmly balanced glasses and the series is complemented with a compatible tumbler. All are sold in sets of 2.

Essence introduced glassware to a new, idea-oriented design: as few glasses as possible for a full range of fine wines. Side by side the wine glasses and tumbler express a remarkable sense of balance, due to the stem and base being of the same size. Sensually pleasing to grasp and handle, Essence makes fine wines even more enjoyable.
