Matti Klenell graduated with his MFA from Konstfack, Stockholm in 1999. He founded the Matti Klenell Studio in 2000 which currently works with various designs and mediums to represent a large sum of clients. Klenell also produces limited edition pieces and works with private art commissions.
From 2000-2006 Klenell served as Head of Department at the Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm. His work is represented globally and he has permanent collections in the Swedish National Museum in Stockholm, the Museum of Design and Applied Arts in Gardabaer, Iceland and the Museum of Värmland in Karlstad, Sweden.
