Taika means "magic" in Finnish. In the new Taika range, seven essential forms designed by Heikki Orvola meet the vivid imaginary world of illustrator Klaus Haapaniemi. Featuring whimsical pheasants and owls in intricate, clustered foliage with a Blue or White background, Taika offers a range of bold and individual pieces to choose from and combine with other design objects in your collection.
Taika adds a distinctive alternative to the Iittala range, taking further the concept of mix and match. The Taika objects are available in two color schemes which both mix well with existing Iittala Collections. Taika is a simple way to bring a touch of magic to any home, and add a little joy to everyday life.

iittala creates objects that are thought through in form, function and quality. Objects with a clear thought, created to achieve long lasting everyday use and inspiration. Whether in metal, wood, porcelain or glass, Iittala design objects are tools for contemporary living.
Iittala continues to be a major driving force of Scandinavian design with legendary designers Kaj Franck (1911-1989) and Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) as the cornerstones for the brand. Iittala objects are design essentials stripped to their core; the pure union of function, form and quality that demonstrates our core philosophy of lasting everyday design against throwawayism.View other products from iittala
