The Idouble Daybed is both minimalistic and highly functional, boasting a silhouette that is simple by design and versatile in nature. A spacious chaise lounge offers a basic, geometric side support that doubles as an armrest and headrest. Lift away the side support and unfold the lounge seat to double its size and make a comfortable bed for overnight guests, or just for napping! The multifunctional design of the Idouble Daybed makes it the perfect piece for open floor plans, delivering functionality and accessibility from all angles.
This daybed features Innovation's exclusive Icomfort mattress - a combination of high quality steel frames and pocket springs topped with a layer of quality foam and a layer of heavy fiber fill, for 7" of thick cushioning offering excellent comfort and resiliency.

Innovation was founded in 1971 in Denmark by Flemming Hoejfeldt, who is still the owner and Chairman of the company. Inspired by his personal experience with the first production communities of the flower power generation, he started the company with a production of beanbags. For 15 years Innovation functioned as a supplier for the furniture industry, but at the end of the 80's the desire to produce its own designs took over.
The company began its new direction with a competition among design students at the School of Architecture in Aarhus and ended up with a concept for contemporary sofa sleepers. As the concept grew, Innovation was rewarded with several design prizes and engaged in a very fruitful cooperation with the famous Danish designer, Verner Panton.
Innovation USA was founded in 1991 and today is an international furniture enterprise with production facilities in Denmark and China. Their designs are available around the globe.
As an international company, Innovation considers it their duty to contribute to better working conditions and a cleaner environment for all. Innovation has a certified environmental profile and all recyclable waste, like cardboard, plastic, iron and metal, is separated and used in other productions. Residual, combustible waste is incinerated in low-pollution plants. Packaging is reduced to the minimum needed for safe transportation. By embracing their environmental responsibility, Innovation designs have a clear vision for the future. Now that's evolved.View other products from Innovation
