Designed to be used as a Coffee Table or as a Bench, this piece from Jeb Jones' Open Form series exudes spareness and grace. Its simple silhouette is formed of a single continuous line, constructed in hand-selected, hand-tooled American hardwood. The open frame creates an interior negative space that can be purely sculptural or function as additional storage space. The Bench/Table features hand-tooled gouged texture sides and interior and is made to order in a choice of 8 pure modern colors and finished with VOC-free opaque and clear top coat finishes.

Jeb Jones designs and produces American furniture in upstate New York. Under the helm of artist and designer Jon Eric Byers, all wood tables, storage and seating are distinguished by their simple geometric forms, traditional construction methods, hand-tooled surfaces and hand finishing. Only select, hand-picked hardwoods are used in the construction of each made-to-order piece. Hand-applied opaque finishes and clear coats are all VOC-free and environmentally safe.
Jeb Jones and John Eric Byers furniture designs have been honored with numerous awards and grants, including the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award and two New York Foundation of the Arts Awards. And several designs are part of the permanent collections of national museums, including the Museum of Arts & Design, New York, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C.
