Bubble Club Armchair
Overview
Design by Philippe Starck, 2000.
Made in Italy by Kartell.
The mass-tinted polypropylene Bubble Club pioneered a new concept in furniture accessories: industrial seating made entirely of plastic. The keen vision of Philippe Starck, along with technology and research made it possible for Kartell to mass produce what was traditionally handmade. Bubble Club Armchair is characterized by the soft contours of its armrests in contrast with the sleek lines of its backrest. A fun and whimsical addition to the living room, gathering space, or backyard. Bubble Club is perfectly suitable for the outdoors and ideal for furnishing gardens, pool sides and patios. Available in a variety of colors.
Kartell plastics are recyclable, and plastic components of Kartell products have a clearly printed universal Recycling Identification Mark.
Winner of Italy's prestigious Compasso d'Oro Award, 2001.
