Charles Ghost StoolPrice: $200.00
Design by Philippe Starck.
Made in Italy by Kartell.
Charles Ghost is a transparent monobloc in polycarbonate, which makes it indestructible and allows it to be used everywhere, indoors and outdoors. The shape recalls that of the chairs of the 1800s, the line of the rounded leg is slightly curled, the icon of the classic stool. The contemporary stool, formed from a single plastic injection mold, is available in three different heights. It is suitable for indoor use and outdoor, it matches every furnishing style and every culture. The taller height is perfect for use as a bar stool.

I love my ghost stools

The ghost stools are excellent. They are kind of difficult to keep clean with kids though.

We are enjoying our counter stools. They are very sturdy. The clear stool is great for our small kitchen space. We are happy with our purchase.

I was delighted with my recent purchase of the small sized Ghost stool. I loved the look with carrera marble and gray walls. It is a small bathroom and the transparent crystal was perfect for not taking up much space visually. Although the shipping was delayed due to Sandy Y Living was very clear in communication about their delay. It was a good experience all around!
Great stool for a small space!!

I needed a stool next to a counter in my kitchen with very little depth and this stool has both form and function! The clear plexi does not take away from my beautiful marble waterfall counter. It's very sturdy and strong so very useful as well. Highly recommended.
Very cute little Ghost!

I ordered the ghost stools in orange-- which felt really bold for me. I love white and neutrals and considered the clear stools, but felt I needed a pop of color in the kitchen and that this would be a fun way to do it. It is! The are really fun and cool, much less ubiquitous than the clear-- lots of personality! When they flood with sunlight they are especially gorgeous. They are relatively comfortable, but not super comfortable. I ordered three. One arrived solo and two arrived stacked in one box. The bottom of those two was pretty badly scratched, but YLiving had it picked up within a week and I am now waiting for my replacement. In general, they seem to fingerprint and get small scratches easily, so use it as an accent piece in a low traffic area or be okay with that. I am okay with it as it takes close inspection to see.
Love the stool

Looks as I had expected...

The stools were well packaged and arrived in mint condition. I got the clear stools and they look just as you'd imagine. It took a little while to get used to how they look in the room, since you really see right through them.
LOVE the Ghost!

The Charles Ghost Stools are a fabulous addition to our kitchen. Fashionable, durable and comfortable to sit on. Being transparent, they take up little visual room in our smallish San Francisco condo.

I bought this stool for my classic looking island. and it looks very pretty and fun. Yliving customer service is also very good.
Over all, great!

Don't take any visual space, which is fantastic for a small space. Very well made as well. But you do get uncomfortable if sitting for a long period of time - perfect stool for eating breakfast/drinking coffee but not so much for working/full course dinner.
