Design by Philippe Starck.
Made in Italy by Kartell.

Once more, Starck's creative genius and Kartell's technology bring to life a revolutionary and fascinating design: La Bohème, a collection of stools in precious vase shapes. There are two designs: La Bohème 2 (shown in Red) and La Bohème 3 (shown in Green). Each design highlights a different aspect of the vase as an object, in terms of the delicate and precious appearance and the stable and functional seat. Only exclusive technology, used for the first time in the design sector by Kartell, has allowed the creation of a collection of stools which are completely transparent and whose shape holds remarkable aesthetic impact. La Bohème stools suit any place, in the living room and in the garden, on the balcony and in the kitchen. Select from a variety of color options. Suitable for indoor/outdoor use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and USEFUL! I bought two of these, one in each shape, in clear and red. The red one adds a pop of color to my living room and can be used as a side table or extra guest seating. The clear one I put in my somewhat small bathroom and use it as a seat for putting on makeup or a bath side table. In clear it's a great piece that takes up no visual space. These are sure to become design classics!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Practical as well as witty I've been eyeing one of these for a couple of years, and finally knew which color I wanted in my front hall. It is a wonderful addition --practical for a person to sit on to lace up shoes or zip on boots, as well as witty and fun. My stool has been greatly admired.
