Design by Philippe Starck.
Made in Italy by Kartell.
Philippe Starck has reinvented the classic Louis XV for Kartell. A comfortable armchair in transparent and colored polycarbonate, it is the quintessence of baroque revisited to dazzle, excite and captivate. Louis Ghost is the most daring example of the world of injected polycarbonate in a single mold. Despite its evanescent and crystalline appearance, Louis Ghost is stable and durable, shock and weather resistant. Suitable for indoor/outdoor use. Stackable to 6 high.
Also sold in a set of 4 chairs: Louis Ghost, Set of 4 Chairs.
Price shown includes shipping.
Material(s): Single piece injection-molded transparent or batch-dyed polycarbonate
As elegant as it is practical!

This is the perfect chair when you need extra seating and don't want the room to look too full. It is much more comfortable than you would expect. Looks great anywhere and it can even go outdoors. It is a true classic which will stand the test of time. We purchased the clear version but I have seen the different colors and they still have a lightness to them which makes them appear almost weightless.

I've always admired this from afar and now that I own my own, I understand the appeal. They're comfortable, beautiful, striking, and visually non-cluttering...

Great looking in Glossy Black. These chairs are surprisingly comfortable and roomy, the structure is very sturdy but light. The only room for improvement would be that the chairs had small pieces of plastic in some of the joining areas that I had to peel off. I would recommend this product!
Lovely and more comfortable than you'd imagine!

I have been wanting a pair of louis ghost chair and finally got it! The shipping was very fast, i receive the chair within 5 business days. But the packing was a little disappointing. With the extra fee that was charged for 'kartell handling', i would expect a little more packaging that would protect the chairs better. When the chairs arrived, the box has a 5-inch opening from one side, right where the arm is. Its probably no one's fault i mean shipping gets rough sometimes, luckily the arm wasnt scratched but kartell should provide a thicker paper box in the future.

as much as it is famous, this chair is worth to get. The quality is great considering its affordable price, and it goes very well with all kinds of furniture. thanks to its material, which is plastic, this can be used in the wet place like bathroom. however, you can think of the down side that when you sit down on the chair in the winter, it is very cold of course. and scratch would be inevitable.
