Plastics is a system of modular seating whose simple and linear elements can stand alone or in multiple combinations, allowing for maximum design freedom. The transparent polycarbonate base and the use of rubberized technical fabrics on the soft polyurethane cushion combine aesthetic innovation with modern functionality. Plastics seating is formed by four separate elements: Ottoman, Armless Seat, Seat with Right Armrest and Seat with Left Armrest.

Designer: Piero Lissoni
After receiving his degree in architecture form the Milan Polytecnic, Piero Lissoni worked as a furniture designer before founding his own studio in 1986, specializing in architecture, interior and graphic design. He has collaborated with Boffi Cucine, Living Divani, Mateograssi and Kartell, and worked on a number of architecture projects in Japan, with design projects that have included a shopping center, an art gallery, a Cordon Bleu cooking school, logos and trademarks. His awards include the 1991 Esprit kitchen design and the Compasso d'Oro design prize. He has also received the Chicago Athenaeum 2002 Good Design® Award for this collection.
