I love my GiGi barstools!

I cannot remember how I found YLiving, but I am glad I did. From start to finish, the experience was very positive. Representative Alison K. was professional, knowledgable, and great with follow though and follow up. The product was delivered in a timely manner, unwrapped, and put in place. I have been hesitant to buy furniture on line without personally seeing it beforehand. My experience with YLiving assures me that I can have confidence when making future purchases from the. A really good experience!

Beautiful design, Decent comfort, relatively affordable

I purchased the 4 Gigis after returning 4 counter stools that were made by another well-known manufacturer who will not be named, due to them being flat-out guilty of deceptive advertizing in the description of their product. Going with the Gigi Knoll provided the confidence that Knoll's reputation is at least sound and the product is as described. Alas, the Gigi and its benifits...well, it is almost perfect in every way. It is quite sturdy, can take some abuse, a great design fete, the charcoal gray color is sumptuous and the seat is very comfortable and has a fun give to the back whereby one can get a little bouncy action going if in the mood. The only thing I've noticed as a drawback, which may be particular to my setting only, is that the prior stools I was replacing were a few inches higher than the gigi counter stool. The result is that I am seated lower at the counter that before, and feel a little like a kid who doesn't quite have command of the table top.

Fabulous Fun and contemporary style of chair

Very well made chair. Nicely uniform yet contemporary and stylish. Sits very comfortably, perfect fit for the area. Moves easily in and out of area. Leather is soft yet sturdy. Glad I got it. I would order more of them if I had the room!

Trained as an architect and industrial designer, he has already been the recipient of several design awards. He was voted Best Young Designer for the Sinue chair, which was introduced in 1996. In 1997, he won a Product Design Achievement Award from the IIDA for the Scoop chair, as well as an honorable mention from the same organization for the Bla-Bla-Bla chair. Among his notable completed interiors is the Press Room for the 1998 World Cup in Paris, France.
