Through an inherent and graceful visual silence, the Krusin Wood Guest Seating Collection maintains a simple linear form that is able to harmonize with a multitude of sophisticated design styles. The Krusin Armless Lounge Chair features a frame constructed of select American and European hard woods, with dowel and mortise and tenon construction and a beautiful steam bent top rail. The upholstered seat uses high density, polyurethane foam with elastic seat belt suspension. Solid wood options in Ash, Beech, Oak and Walnut are available in a broad palette of natural finishes along with contemporary low sheen finishes. Designer signature plate is located on underside of chair. The Armless Lounge Chair is also offered with a bent laminate upholstered Inset Seat Back.

Designer: Marc Krusin
Marc Krusin is a veteran of the Milan-based group Codice 31, which he founded in 1998 with five other designers. He now directs the design team of the prestigious Milanese design firm, Piero Lissoni, overseeing projects for international clients such as Alessi, Kartell, Flos, Thonet, and Wella. Much of Krusin's own work is done through Klay, a firm he opened in 2004, specializing in "objects of natural materials influenced by world cultures." Cross-cultural influences run throughout his practice.
Krusin has designed for Fontana Arte, Pallucco, Saporiti, Bosa ceramiche, Merten, Omnidecor, Glas Italia, and the Spanish furniture firm, Viccarbe. Recently honored in the 2008 "Europe 40 Under 40", Krusin was described as one of the "next generation of innovative architects and designers who will impact future living and working environments, cities, and rural areas."
