Design by Jorge Pensi, 1988.
Barcelona designer Jorge Pensi's wave-of-the-future Café Table Collection includes Square or Round Café Tables and a Bar-Height Café Table. The series features table top options and a cast aluminum base polished to match its chair-mate, Pensi's Toledo Chair. The design is distinguished by two stainless steel top finishes and one metallic laminate option with an elegant phenolic black edge on a four-star base. All finishes are appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use. Pensi Café Tables are recipients of First Place, Sidi Selection, 1988; "Delta Plate" Award, ADI FAD, 1988; Design Center Stuttgart Award, 1990.
Select from up to three table top options: Stainless Steel with an acid-etched pattern of concentric circles and wrapped edge; Stainless Steel with a sanded pattern of scalloped, compact disk-like, 1.25" wide circles and wrapped edge; or metallic Trespa with a natural black phenolic edge. The Trespa Metallic top finish (LM) is UV resistant, does not reflect heat, is easy to clean and made of recyclable materials, making it especially suited to outdoor use.
