Design by Eero Saarinen, 1956.
In his purist approach to architecture and interior design, Eero Saarinen sought the essential idea and reduced it to the most effective structural solution within an overall unity of design. The 20-Inch Round Side Table features Saarinen's remarkable tulip-base silhouette with a single stem base taking the place of traditional legs. The table base is constructed from molded, cast aluminum polished and coated in a tough, abrasion-resistant Rilsan finish. Tables tops are available in wood, laminate, coated and natural marble and natural granite top finishes, in a wide range of colors.
- Beveled-edge table top
- Table top attaches to pedestal base with threaded rod
- Table tops offered in a wide range of woods, marbles and granites
- Heavy molded cast aluminum base, offered in several finishes
- Laminate, Natural Marble, Veneer and Granite tops are GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified®
- Coated marble tops are offered in two finishes: standard Polished or Satin. The satin finished marble creates a matte sheen that gives the top a natural honed appearance while offering the same protective qualities as the Polished polyester coated marble finish. Satin finish is not available on Natural Marbles.
The Knoll logo is stamped into the base of the Saarinen Tables. Tops have nameplate with designer's signature. Not suitable for outdoor use.
Timeless design, high quality

Eero Saarinen designed the St. Louis Arch, the terminal at Dulles Airport, a lot of other amazing things, and this table. It is simply an amazing and timeless piece. This one is the real deal too, manufactured by Knoll with a signature name plate on the underside. It may seem expensive, but this thing will last forever. When you die, your kids aren't going to want your Ikea blatt table or whatever, they're going to want your Saarinen end table.
The Saarinen 20 inch round side table is beautiful, functional and durable.

I am extremely pleased with the Saarinen side table. It has all the elements of beauty with a streamlined appearance. The Arabescato marble tabletop and white base is a gorgeous combination. Thank you!
Thrilled to have this timeless design piece in our space.

After coveting this table for years (and unsuccessfully searching for a suitable alternative), I finally jumped in and made the purchase. Classic piece I hope to pass along to my children someday.
