Designed in celebration of Knoll's 60th Anniversary, Maya Lin's "Stones" Collection is inspired by the graceful curves of the earth. The molded Polyethylene/Recycled Polyethylene Coffee Table is fully finished and enclosed on top, bottom and sides. And with proper care and limited exposure to the elements, Polyethylene Stone Tables are suitable for outdoor use. Available with optional anchoring kit (see options below).
Notes:
The Maya Lin Coffee Table is Greenguard approved. Polyethylene stones have integral color with a light texture and a low gloss finish. Recycled polyethylene stones are composed of 100% recycled polyethylene. Black specs will appear randomly on the surface of the stone. Color will vary slightly from stone to stone. Half-inch felt glides for indoor use are included.

Frequently cited as a benchmark of modern cross-national design, Maya Lin's work draws influence from Japanese gardens, American Indian earthen mounds, her parents and her architectural design training at Yale University. While studying there as a senior, Lin won a nationwide contest for her controversial design of the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial. Her career has been marked by her memorials, public spaces and keen sense of simple, elegant beauty. These elements are gracefully displayed in her work for Knoll, which includes outdoor seating stones, a chaise lounge and side chair. In 2003, Maya Lin won the Finn Juhl award for good design.
