Kartell Componibili modular unit system designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell has been produced for more than thirty years and is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and also on exhibit at the George Pompidou Centre in Paris. The units are suitable for every kind of domestic use, as a bedside table or storage in the bathroom, kitchen or childrens rooms.

The units overlap to keep each other in place, similar to a tongue and groove joint.

Anna Castelli-Ferrieri

Anna Castelli-Ferrieri born in 1920 in Milan, where she studied architecture, graduating in 1943. Marrying into the Castelli family (owners of Kartell) in the same year, she subsequently began a long career designing for the company, Kartell. She developed many new products with them using plastics as well as polyurethane, polystyrene and polypropylene, some of which items are still in production today.
