Designed by Eric Pfeiffer for Loll, the Racer Lounge is functional outdoor seating at it's best. Featuring built-in handles for easy mobility and a sporty stripe, the Racer Lounge is as sleek as it is stylish. A built-in storage trunk is perfect for holding outdoor accessories. Paired with the Racer Side Car Table, the Racer Lounge is sure to make for a relaxing pit stop in the afternoon. Helmet and racing suit not included.
Leave it out year round, hose it off with a garden hose in the spring and enjoy. It's that easy. As with all Loll Furniture, the Racer Lounge will not, fade, warp, rot, require paint or stain or any on going maintenance to keep its beautiful appearance so you can spend more time relaxing.
Loll furniture is shipped flat pack to save on costs and resources. Loll has gone to great lengths to make their furniture assembly very simple.

Designer: Eric Pfeiffer
Eric Pfeiffer served as the VP of Design at Offi from 2000 through 2004, coordinating product design and directing the Offi innovation process. During his prolific tenure at Offi, he designed most of the products that were introduced and was credited with several design awards, including the 2003 ID Magazine award for the Offi Perch Lounge. Also while at Offi, Eric co-authored a book called "Bent Ply: the Art of Plywood Furniture", which features the step-by-step making of the Offi Wave Desk.
In January 2005 Eric started his new design studio "Pfeiffer Lab" with the goal of exploring the "the design of everyday objects in our lives." Pfeiffer Lab relies on Eric's penchant for simplicity of form to create useful and elegant solutions for everyday living. His reductive designs are expressed in timeless forms that recognize a product's usefulness and necessity while exhibiting the beauty and honesty of a products material.
Eric Pfeiffer is gifted with a deep understanding and passion for innovation and the manufacturing process. Therefore his designs result in affordable products with total clarity of form and function that continue to receive wide acclaim and distribution for Offi. His products have been published in numerous national and international publications, and now sell under the Offi brand in over 350 of the finest stores in the US, Japan and throughout Europe. In addition to Pfeiffer Lab, Eric is currently working on another book about design, home and the modern family.

Are Loll products UV resistant?
All Loll products have a UV inhibitor added when the color pigment is added. There has proven to be very little change in the color of our plastic over time.
What temperature swings can Loll products endure?
Loll products are built to be weatherproof and may be left out year-round in any and all extreme conditions. The melting point of the plastic we use is 270 degrees.
What other elements can Loll furniture withstand?
Our high-density polyethylene material (HDPE, reclaimed primarily from #2 recycled milk jugs) will withstand chlorine and salt water. All fasteners are hidden and we use high-grade stainless steel. If they receive direct exposure, the hidden stainless fasteners may show some surface discoloration but will not breakdown or lose their structure.
Does the material get really hot if it's out in the sun for a long time?
The black furniture will become hot in direct sun but will not retain heat like steel furniture. We have never had a piece returned because it gets "too hot".
Are most of Loll products heavy enough that they won't blow around in the wind?
Yes. The average weight of an Adirondack Chair is approximately 55 pounds.
Are Loll products easy to clean?
Absolutely! Most clean-ups only require water and a brush. Tougher stains may require a power wash or natural citrus-based cleaner.
Is any special maintenance needed on Loll products?
Make sure that when you assemble your Loll furniture you follow all assembly instructions closely. If a product is in a high- use area, occasionally check that all fasteners are completely secure.
What if something on my Loll products is damaged? Do I have to return the entire piece?
If a part of a Loll product gets damaged, because of our unique fastening system it is possible to replace just that specific piece, not the whole product.
