BAP LED Table LampPrice: $392.00
Design by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto, 1992.
The BAP Lamp, which stands for the German BildschirmArbeitsPlatz, is a lamp with an LED light source, devised to resolve practical situations such as reflection and dazzle caused by computers. The BAP was specifically designed to be used alongside computer monitors. Extremely minimal in design, the BAP features pantograph-like movement of the arm to keep the source of light parallel to the table surface. Made of aluminum and thermoplastic materials, the lamp provides lighting that is capable of counteracting the glare from monitors. Colored polycarbonate filters shield the light, preventing the eyes from becoming tired. The BAP can be used with a table base, surface mount, or wall mount bracket.
