Design by Inga Sempé, 2007.
A modern interpretation of the ancient art of pleating, the Plissé Pendant is a suspension lamp whose width can be adjusted by its double pantograph system. Designed to light tables or work surfaces, the Plissé Pendant allows you to increase and decrease its extension effortlessly, with just a simple gesture. The system is based on a sophisticated steel structure, which is elegantly concealed by the pleated shade. Winner of the 2008 Design Plus Frankfurt award. Available in White or Black.
Material(s): Aluminum, steel
Bulbs: 7 X 40W 120V E12 (candelabra base) incandescent lamps (not included)

Inga Sempé's design vision is greatly inspired by the innovative precision of everyday objects. The Paris-based designer combines clean lines with a characteristic airiness to create pieces that are gracefully streamlined and disarmingly warm. Linear textures and patterns figure prominently in her body of work.View other products by Inga Sempe
