Cute,practical,functional elephant lamp
We did purchased an elephant lamp, and it was great time folding together with the kids,we found some additional features to it,for example if we stick the eyes upside down or in an angle it will change completely the "expression" of the elephant "face", It is clearly stated in manufacturer brochure that it is a heat resistant polypropylene and we did checked the proximity of the lamp to the inner body of the lamp,we left the lamp for much longer than adviced and nothing happened,so it is a heat resistant as its says.

Sizing inaccurate, potentially dangerous in kid's room
I ordered this for my daughter's bedroom as a gift for when we transfer her from a crib to a "big girl" bed. I don't usually write product reviews, but feel very disappointed in the item I received for 2 main reasons:
1. Specifically stated in the product safety instructions, it says not to place the lamp where children can reach it (almost impossible in a house with kids). It says to use a max 40 watt bulb and use a lesser wattage if lamp is to be on longer than 10-24 hours - I had hoped to leave this as a nightlight at my daughter's bedside and now realize that it will be a hazard if she turns it off an on or if we leave it on all night. Additionally, once assembled, I realized how close the bulb was to the polypropylene and felt that it would be dangerous to leave on at all.
2. The size is completely inaccurate - the height is closer to 9 1/2 inches and the length of the body is approximately 8 inches (if you add the tail and snout, it is at most 17inches long, and the width is about 6inches.
Ultimately, I feel very cheated in having paid for a piece of cheap plastic that I now have to pay to return. I must say that it is cute, but I'm glad I assembled it while my daughter was sleeping to avoid the disappointment of her seeing it and wanting to keep it in her room.
Cute idea for a lamp, but this item seriously falls short in product design.
Herman Miller's 3D Intelligent back material is a seating technology designed for the SAYL™ Chair. The 3-dimensional mesh-like suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower at the back of the chair just as cables are stretched from the towers of a suspension bridge.
