A good, but limited, storage bed.
Assembly: My only assembly criticism is that the drawers are not pre-drilled for the attachment of the casters. That issue aside, the assembly was straightforward. With only one person, assembly time was about 4 hours, including unpacking and cleanup. That time could probably be cut down by an hour or more with help from a second person. Use: Each drawer is about 19" wide by 23" deep, which is more than enough room for the extra clutter that was previously under the bed or on the floor of the closet. However, if like me, you need to store lots of books or other heavy items near the bed, be aware that the drawers are not made to support them. The drawer bottoms are a hardboard / composite (not solid wood like the rest of the bed) that looks like it might sag or warp over time if it were subjected to anything heavier than towels, socks, shoes and the like (I can actually distort it with my hand quite easily). For a bed of this price, I expected more robust construction. I have had the bed for about a month now and I have no other complaints. The platform is sized to be slightly larger than a standard queen mattress, which looks nice and keeps bed linens from obstructing the drawers. The walnut is beautifully finished and is holding up well to use so far.

This bed is truly awesome. Great space saver and great design. Very good quality wood. My husband hates me because it had over 345 screws and parts to assemble but end the end he thought it was the best platform bed EVER!!!

One of the worst purchases of my life
I hate this bed so much. It looked great on the site, but it's a horribly rickety and just bad. Returning it immediately
