In designing the He Said Chair (and its accompanying She Said Chair), Nitzan Cohen "thought about the classic café scenario: girl meets boy, boy meets girl." And so he named the design with this in mind and envisioned the chair in solid wood - the material's warmth and character a fitting match to the intimacy of that encounter. He Said features angular wooden components crafted in to fluid lines with a fully open seat back, casually sloped armrests that extend over the legs, and a deep, comfortably curved seat.
He Said is painstakingly constructed by highly skilled craftsmen and with advanced machinery, and finished by hand in 100% FSC certified woods.

My He SAid, She Said chairs are exquisite, well designed and very comfortable

I have received the 2 chairs and not the bistro table -yet. The 2 chairs are high quality. They are surprisingly comfortable with no need for chair pads. The chairs are larger and sturdier than I expected from a bistro set, I waited 4 moonths for them to arrive from Italy and they were worth the wait. The white laquer is not shiny but just right. I love looking at them and enjoy sitting in them. However they are a little lonely without the matching table...for now. Thank you Yliving. I should mention also the scheduled truck delivery worked out well.

After graduating from the design academy in Eindhoven, Holland, Nitzan Cohen spent many years as a designer and project leader at Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design in Munich. In 2007, he established his own multi-disciplinary studio, where he and his team work on a variety of projects, ranging from household items to exhibit spaces, for clients including BMW-Group, Diesel, Mattiazzi, and Bree.
Cohen says he loves working on furniture, especially chairs, because "they relate most to the body; there is a constant relationship to people, and there really are no boundaries when designing it: you can do things with a chair that you could never do with any other objects. In terms of scale, character, and features, a chair is often the most 'outspoken' piece in the room."
