She Said Lowide ChairPrice: $1,949.00
Design by Studio Nitzan Cohen, 2010.
Made in Italy by Mattiazzi.
In designing the She Said Chair and the She Said Café Table, Nitzan Cohen "thought about the classic café scenario: girl meets boy, boy meets girl." And so he named the design with this in mind and envisioned the stool in solid wood - the material's warmth and character a fitting match to the intimacy of that encounter.
She Said Lowide Chair boasts dimensions that are both generous and comfortable. A lower-sitting, wider-seated version of the original She Said Chair, it features angular wooden components crafted in to fluid lines with an inviting sculpted seat, casually sloped armrests which curve as one piece into the legs. The wide seat pan is shaped for maximum comfort.
She Said is painstakingly constructed by highly skilled craftsmen and with advanced machinery, and finished by hand in 100% FSC certified woods. Select Natural Ash, Black Anilin Beech or White Lacquered Beech.
Backed by a 2 year warranty.

Designer: Nitzan Cohen
After graduating from the design academy in Eindhoven, Holland, Nitzan Cohen spent many years as a designer and project leader at Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design in Munich. In 2007, he established his own multi-disciplinary studio, where he and his team work on a variety of projects, ranging from household items to exhibit spaces, for clients including BMW-Group, Diesel, Mattiazzi, and Bree.
Cohen says he loves working on furniture, especially chairs, because "they relate most to the body; there is a constant relationship to people, and there really are no boundaries when designing it: you can do things with a chair that you could never do with any other objects. In terms of scale, character, and features, a chair is often the most 'outspoken' piece in the room."View other products by Nitzan Cohen
Mattiazzi. Perfecting the modern craft of wood furniture design and manufacturing.
Mattiazzi has a history of design, craft, industrial processes, and sustainable practices. Based in Udine, Italy, the company has over 30 years of experience in crafting wood, by hand and with advanced machinery. Mattiazzi products balance beauty and comfort, communicating to the senses the warmth and familiarity of solid wood.
Mattiazzi has been on the cutting edge of woodworking and furniture design since 1978, when brothers Nevio and Fabiano Mattiazzi founded the company. Since then, the company has developed a network of wood shops in their region that are diverse enough to support any manufacturing process the brand may need. Shops specialize in all aspects of woodcraft - from milling to lacquering. Their highly specialized craftsmen operate the most sophisticated machinery available to the wood industry. Specialized milling machines, for example, allow wood to take the complex shapes associated with injection-molded plastic. Operating such a machine is an art and Mattiazzi has pioneered and perfected the modern craft of mechanized manufacturing. All products are crafted, finished and hand-inspected through every step of manufacturing and assembly to produce wood furniture of impeccable quality and flawless design.View other products from Mattiazzi
