Bottle Grinder, Small
Overview
Design by Norm Architects.
By Menu A/S.
The Bottle Grinder has a powerful ceramic grinder and is very easily operated - open, load with delicious ingredients and close again. The Bottle Grinder is built for performance with a clear ambition to spice up everyday meals with healthy and nurturing spices.
The unique upside-down design ensures that only the ground pumpkin seeds, dried blueberries or walnuts sprinkles out when you grind. This way the Bottle Grinder leaves no marks on the table or in the kitchen. The Bottle Grinder has a rounded bottom that fits the hand's motion and grip perfectly and features a very durable, easy-to-clean rubber coated surface that grants a very arresting look, touch and feel
Available in two colors: Ash or Carbon. There's also a 2-pack option where you can get one of each color.

Glad I got the small size
By: Dave, Homeowner (Seattle)
I was deliberating a fair bit between the big and small bottle grinders. The small ones are quite large still, so I'm glad I went with these. They're about the size of a beer bottle each, but slightly girthier at the bottom and with a much bigger neck. I was confused also about the materials, since it's described in places as being ceramic. To be clear, the bottle material is sort of a rubberized plastic, the knob in the neck of the bottle is wood, and the grinding mechanism itself (which you will never see unless you open it) is ceramic. I wish the bottle material itself was ceramic. The grinding action is excellent, but the adjustability on grind fineness is poor. Capacity is very large, they hold a ton of salt+pepper. The surface of the bottles themselves feels good, but it feels like it would scuff/scratch badly if dropped on a hard surface, and would collect skin oil and eventually become shiny.
Nice looking, well functioning grinder, but hard to clean
By: Jacqualyn C., Homeowner (Chicago)
The size and weight of these are perfect. The grinding mechanism works really well and is easy to adjust. I love the feeling of the material on the outside, but it's very hard to clean. The first time we used them someone with oil on their hands made marks on them that won't seem to come off.
