Eternally modern — and an immediate classic. This is the only possible description of the combination of Verner Panton's design and Menu's award winning thermo cups created by Pernille Vea. Verner Panton was always on the cutting edge, willing to test new designs, new styles and new technologies. His colorful design radiates curiosity, optimism and joy. The pattern on the Verner Panton Thermo Cup is called Geometry 1 and is from 1960. It represents Panton's first and most famous textile design, for which he received The International Design Award in the United States in 1963.
The Verner Panton Thermo Cup is minimalist in its expression with an organic shape and an arresting sensitivity that grants a soft look, touch and feel. As a Menu signature feature, the Verner Panton Thermo Cup has an insulating double wall that keeps beverages hot, yet prevents burns to your fingers. Available as a set of 4 in Red, Orange, Purple and Blue.
Dimensions: Capacity: 7 fl. oz.

The thermo cups are so good that we bought the two additional sets for our mother for Christmas. It really makes drinking hot beverages more at ease.
Designer: Pernille Vea
"I have moved from very geometric design to more asymmetrical shapes, inspired by nature. For example, by recreating the shape of a stone that has been worn by the movement of the waves. Previously, it was largely about designing things from the kitchen and the dining table for taking out into the garden. Now the trend has reversed: We are importing shapes from the great outdoors into the garden." Many of the best-known and most popular products in Menu's range come from Pernille Vea's design universe. Pernille, and not least her designs, have won countless prizes and prestigious awards all over the world.View other products by Pernille Vea
Designer: Verner Panton
Verner Panton was an inspirational and colorful personality. A unique person with a special sense of colours, shapes, light function and room.
Over the course of his career Verner Panton (1926-1998) introduced a series of modern lamps with personalities unlike any of his Scandinavian contemporaries.
With a remarkable faith in the unlimited possibilities of the form, he worked successfully to create a new set of theories about how lighting should work and how it should influence its surroundings.
Verner Panton in his own words:
"The main purpose of my work is to provoke people into using their imagination. Most people spend their lives living in dreary, grey-beige conformity, mortally afraid of usning colors. By experimenting with lighting, colors, textiles and furniture and utilizing the latest technologies, I try to show new ways, to encourage people to use their fantasy imagination and make their surroundings more exciting".
