RC223 Hand Held Aire Control™ Remote System

Overview

The RC 223 Hand Held Aire Control™ Remote System features three speed fan control and on/off plus full range light dimmer. The system includes one hand held remote control, wall holster, and canopy mounted receiver. The wireless remote operates at distances up to 40 feet. RC223 can be used in conjunction with WC223 Wall Mount Aire Control™ (sold separately). A 12 volt battery is included.

Minka Aire has been updating their fan controls and now feature 256bit learning receivers. These new controls are not compatible with older receivers and transmitters. This may cause some confusion when you are ordering supplemental controls for your existing fans. To help distinguish the two types, here are some helpful guidelines:

• Receivers (in canopy)
  NEW green in color, NO switches.
  OLD Black in color, 4 dip switches to set the channel.
• Transmitters (wall or hand held remote)
  NEW Green light at the top of the control, 8 dip switches located in battery compartment (with a green sticker on the battery cover) or on side of wall control.
  OLD Red light on top of the control, 4 dip switches located in the battery compartment or on side of wall control.
