Overview
The Wing Fan is one of Minka Aire's most unique designs. This single bladed ceiling fan features innovative balancing techniques and uses specially designed equipment in the manufacturing process. Wing features a variable blade pitch with a single blade that provides 52" overall span. It includes a 6" downrod (uses 3/4"I.D. DR5 series downrod), RC400 special hand held remote control system, and DC 125 X 30mm motor. The maximum hanging weight is 11 lbs and the overall height using the shortest included downrod is 10.75".
Select from Silver, Maple, Mahogany or White finishes.
Winner of the 2010 Chicago Anthenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design's Good Design Award.

DON'T PURCHASE, DANGEROUS!!

Had an electrician install the Wing ceiling fan. After being on for about 2 hours the fan wobbled and gouged the ceiling. The electrician said the assembly holding the bar the fan is suspened from wasn't sturdy enough for the fan. Luckily, I was home and was able to turn it off immediately before it did more damage.
