Modern Office Chairs: Sit Right.

A few things to consider while shopping for modern office chairs:

Adjustable Seat height. Most modern office chairs come with height adjustability. Aim for a seat height of 16 to 21 inches from the ground.

Seat width and depth. Look for modern office chairs that are 17-20 inches wide. The depth (from front to back of the seat) needs to be enough so you can sit all the way back in the chair and have about 2 4 inches between the back of the knees and the chair.

Lumbar support. In an effort to reduce slouching, lower back support in modern office chairs is very important. Many modern office chairs have lumbar adjustment (both height and depth) so you can get the proper fit to support the inward curve of the lower back.

Seat material. If you'll be sitting on your chair at length, look for modern office chairs that have a breathable fabric.

Armrests. Most modern office chairs often have adjustable armrests. These allow your arms to rest comfortably and shoulders to be relaxed.

Swivel. In order to move around your work station freely, modern office chairs that swivel are a good option.
