The Museum Bench is a beautiful and durable seating element suited to high traffic and commercial use. (But this versatile design feels right at home in your home too.) Natural woods and cool aluminum precisely pair horizontal planks atop a vertical base. Available in solid Maple, Walnut, or Brazilian Walnut. Brazilian Walnut is the only wood suitable for outdoor use. Offered in lengths from two- to six-feet with anodized machined billet aluminum cross ties and legs.
Designed, developed and manufactured at the Modernica factory in Los Angeles, CA. Featured in the Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA), 2005 Biennial Exhibition.

Fantastic bench, terrific attention to detail.
By: Kelvin C., Homeowner (San Francisco)
Absolutely fantastic bench for the entryway of my home. Like one of the other reviewers mentioned, it takes much longer to unpack and unwrap the pieces than it takes to assemble itâÂÂsaying something about the care Modernica takes to make sure every piece arrives undamaged. If there's one bit of criticism, I would say that I was surprised there was no felt or pad to put on the bottom of the legs to prevent scratching on hard surfaces. I purchased the 2ft, walnut version and the quality of the metal, wood, bolts, and fit is superb. Highly recommended. Thanks YLiving and Modernica!

These benches work perfectly for the lobby of our auditorium. They don't take up much space, look nice, and serve the purpose perfectly
Solid construction, beautifully crafted

Excellent sturdy piece that will last a lifetime. Solid construction, very easy to put together, the wood stain is rich and beautiful, extremely happy.
wow, super sharp
By: Micah C. (NY)
This bench is super sharp. We got the ebonized wood. I prefer this bench to the iconic nelson bench as my sense is it is more industrial strength, sturdier and better for entrance-way beatings it will take. I also happen to prefer the look. My only concern/question is that the ebonized wood is mostly smooth in places but has a few grainier areas -- few enough to look more like accidental imperfections than natural variations.

This bench is the real deal. I just received it today and it took me longer to unwrap than to put together. Modernica did a great job of carefully packing this bench to make sure nothing got scratched or damaged. Outstandingly well made, solid (my 4 foot bench weighs at least 50 pounds), and beautiful. I would highly recommend this bench.
