Paper Table PatchworkPrice: $3,957.00
Design by Studio Job, 2012.
It's about time we rethink paper furniture. Impressive in scale yet still light enough to fit your modern interior, the Paper Table Patchwork is made entirely of paper, cardboard and papier-mâché. A blend of classic design and modern manufacturing, the Patchwork table has a wood and cardboard frame finished with durable, PU lacquer. This newest member of Moooi's Paper collection continues to explore and use paper for more substantial, structural purposes. The wooden parts are finished with wood veneer and the pieces are easy to assemble. Each component slot enables one part to bear its weight and share its strength with the another component. There are no screws, nuts or bolts in the entire piece, which, along with its shapely oval top, give the table a seamless, light sensibility.

"Our design is about freedom. We think that design is a universal language spoken with shapes instead of words. In our design the important interaction is between onlooker and object. By looking at our objects, the onlooker looks directly into our eyes. In this sense our work is like a diary. Very intuitive and direct, we try to translate our experiences and ideas into an object or a collection."View other products by Studio Job
