New Paper Wardrobe PatchworkPrice: $5,751.00
Design by Studio Job, 2012.
Think outside the wooden box and consider…paper. The Paper Patchwork Wardrobe is a new, stylish piece from Moooi's Paper family. Inspired by classic furniture yet manufactured with modern ingenuity, the Paper Patchwork Wardrobe fits your modern interior with ease. Eye-catching with colorful panels and shelves, the wardrobe is made entirely of paper, cardboard and papier-mâché and has a durable wood and cardboard frame finished in PU lacquer. Two panels open up to a clothes rack for hanging coats, dresses and other attire, and a single top shelf can house shoes and handbags. All of its wooden parts are finished with wood veneer. The construction is intelligent, and the pieces are easy to assemble. There are no screws, nuts or bolts in the entire piece, which gives the wardrobe a seamless, light sensibility.

"Our design is about freedom. We think that design is a universal language spoken with shapes instead of words. In our design the important interaction is between onlooker and object. By looking at our objects, the onlooker looks directly into our eyes. In this sense our work is like a diary. Very intuitive and direct, we try to translate our experiences and ideas into an object or a collection."View other products by Studio Job
