The petite Helix Lounge Chair brings unique and stylish comfort to any room. Inspired by an imagined story of a snail who loses her shell and decides to explore the world, "Helix" takes on a new look each day. Pair this whimsical chair with others or allow it to take center stage.
The Helix Lounge Chair is crafted with injected polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame. Clear polypropylene feet are attached to the frame. Select from an extensive palette of upholstery options to brighten your modern living space. Fabric cover is removable.

Designer: Karmelina Martina
Karmelina Martina was born in Sarajevo, and is now living and working in Udine. Karmelina graduated with full honors in industrial design from Florence University in 2001. She studied under Vanni Pasca, Isao Hosoe, Paolo Deganello and other internationally-renowned designers. She has worked in Moroso's product development department since 2006. She seeks to perfect a design precisely in the border area that separates technical and manufacturing reasoning from symbolic and emotive motivations.

Moroso started from the end: it began by considering the end users, their lifestyles and their ways of using their living-rooms. A living room is a place you open to other people, in order to express your hospitality, but can also be a place of quiet and reflection.
Moroso has been designing sofas, armchairs and accessories since 1952 with renowned designers such as Ron Arad, Carlo Colombo, Enrico Franzolini, Marc Newson, Toshiyuki Kita and Patricia Urquiola.
