The Kub Side Table takes on the design of a tree trunk with its bark like pattern on the outer sides and round rings on the top. Made from varnished steel constructed into wired lines that take on frames in various shapes and sizes — a visual play on the 'wireframes' of 3D software.

Oki Sato, founder of Nendo, was born in Toronto, Canada in 1977. He received an M.A. in Architecture from Waseda University, Tokyo in 2002 and established the Nendo Tokyo office. In 2005, Sato established the Nendo Milan office. He was named one of "The 100 Most Respected Japanese" by Newsweek magazine and Nendo was named one of "The Top 100 Small Japanese Companies", also by Newsweek magazine.
Oki Sato has lectured at numerous institutions and he has served as a jury member of the iF award.
