Ana Mir

Designer: Ana Mir

Born in Valencia, Ana Mir received a Fine Arts Degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and MA ID Master Of Arts in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins, London (1992-1994). Her Master studies in the UK were funded by Valencian Government IMPIVA. She shares Emiliana Design Studio based in Barcelona with Emili Padrós, working together on various commissions and at the same time developing individual research projects.

Ana Mir has participated in national and international group exhibitions and workshops and lectures in Berlin, Rome, London, New York, Sao Paulo, Reykjavik, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona. She has had two solo exhibitions, Shock Design (2001) and Sin título (2003) at the gallery H2O in Barcelona. In 2002 Ana was asked to submit several of her designs to the permanent collection of Fons Nationale d'art Contemporain- FNAC of France.

Emili Padrós

Designer: Emili Padrós

Born in Barcelona, Emili Padrós studied Industrial Design at Elisava School, Barcelona (1987-1991) and received a Master of Arts in Industrial Design in the Central Saint Martins School of Arts and Design, London (1992-1994). He has shared Emiliana Design Studio based in Barcelona with Ana Mir, working together on different commissions and at the same time developing individual research projects.

Emili Padrós has participated in national and international group exhibitions and workshops and lectures in Berlin, Rome, London, New York, Sao Paulo, Reykjavik, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona. He had a solo exhibition 'Recollections' at the gallery H2O in Barcelona (2002). In 2002 Emili was asked to submit several of his designs to the permanent collection of Fons Nationale d'art Contemporain- FNAC of France.
